Portuguese Prime Minister confirmed to speak at The Economist Events Lisbon Summit

Lisbon, 14th January, 2018 – António Costa, the Portuguese Prime Minister, has confirmed his presence at the 2018 edition of The Economist Events’ Lisbon Summit. The Summit will bring together some of the most important players in politics, the economy and society, on 13 and 14 March, in Cascais. Organised by The Economist Events, the Summit will host a leading panel of political and business professionals who will discuss opportunities and strategies for Portugal’s sustainable growth. Speakers who have already confirmed their participation include the Minister of Economy, Manuel Caldeira Cabral; the Secretary of State for Industry, Ana Teresa Lehmann; the Secretary of State for Energy, Jorge Seguro Sanches. This gathering of different stakeholders will place Cascais at the center of an in-depth debate on Portugal, including the evolution of its economy, the implications for other countries inside and outside the euro zone and the opportunities presented to companies.
